Innova
Innova was first formed in 1983 and is the most popular of the companies in the disc golf industry. Dave Dunipace was the founder of Innova and created the first disc specific to disc golf, called the Eagle.

Discraft
Originating in Londo Ontario, discraft was specifically invented because of the dis-satisfaction of disc quality. Jim Kenner and his wife Gail McColl started the company in 1978.

Prodigy
David Greenwell founded Prodigy discs in 2013, and aside from his accomplishments in creating high quality discs, he also has 25 world title senior grandmaster division Championships

Aerobie
Aerobie was a disc golfing compnay that was formed as early as the 70's by a man named Alan Adler, who much like others in the industry, simply wanted to see better discs with a higher quality of performance. One of of their non-disc golf frisbee's currently holds the world record for the "longest throw of an object without any velocity-adding feature."
